Freelydefined, Nikita Mirzani Instead Banded On The Decision Of The Panel Of Judges

JAKARTA - Not long ago, Nikita Mirzani had just left the Class IIB Serang Detention Center and returned to his home, after a panel of judges at the Serang District Court (PN) declared himself acquitted of all charges.

But strangely, Nikita Mirzani together with Fitri Aalhuteru, his best friend and Fahmi Bachmid, his attorney returned to visit the Serang District Court on Tuesday, January 3 to appeal the verdict on Thursday, December 29, 2022 yesterday.

Fahmi said that his party knew that the Serang District Attorney intended to file an appeal, and he did not want this to happen. Therefore, his party first filed an appeal.

"We want to appeal the decision of the Serang District Court on December 29, 2022. Why are we appealing? Because the prosecutor is also appealing," Fahmi Bachmid told the media crew at the Serang District Court on Tuesday, January 3.

Fahmi explained that the goal was to appeal differently from the prosecutor. If the prosecutor appeals because he disagrees with the verdict, then on the other hand, his party appeals so that the decision is strengthened in the High Court. Both appeals are just different missions," he said.

In addition to visiting the Serang District Court, Nikita Mirzani also intends to visit the Serang City Police. He wants to meet the Head of the Serang City Police as well as check the report against Dito Mahendra submitted by the Serang District Attorney.

The day after the acquittal, Nikita did not seem to want the case to just stop. The reason is, he admitted that he suffered losses of up to billions of rupiah as a result of approaching the prison for more than 2 months.

"Let them breathe and rest in peace, wait for 2023 what happens. My loss for 2 months 2 weeks is big. Not one or two billion just," said Nikita some time ago.
