David Bayu's Single Deritaku Played More Than 5 Million TIMES On Spotify

JAKARTA - David Bayu has achieved personal achievements since starting a solo career. His Sitle Deritaku has been played more than five million times on Spotify.

In an upload on Instagram social media, Aldo Sianturi represented Demajors, the recording label that oversees revealed the good news on the first day of 2023.

"Opening 2023, the single "Deritaku" from the album "In the Soul" presented by @davidbayudj has been played more than 5 million times on Spotify," said Aldo Sianturi.

"Thank you for all the support and enjoy the debut album David Bayu "In the Soul" from @demajorsrecs. Happy New Year 2023!" he continued.

David Bayu stepped on his own through his solo album Di Dalam Jiwa as well as marking his new career after Naif disbanded.

This project began when the COVID-19 pandemic first hit in 2020. Naif's condition at that time made him start working and opening old writings.

"In the past, the priority was not to (a solo project). If DVD Boy was like a solo album, but it turned out to be just a fad because it wasn't a priority," said David Bayu in his official statement.

Then David Bayu released Deritaku as the first single on September 30. This single has been played more than five million times on the Spotify music platform.
