Immigration Of South Jakarta Deportation 79 Foreigners During 2022, Most Of Malaysia And Nepal

JAKSEL - The Class I Special Immigration Office for Non TPI South Jakarta (Jaksel) deported as many as 79 foreign nationals (WNA) who violated the law in 2022.

A number of articles were violated, namely 119 paragraph (1) regarding without valid travel documents, article 123 concerning falsification of data to obtain a residence permit, article 75 paragraph (1), which is disturbing public order or disobeying regulations.

Furthermore, the violation of Article 78 paragraph (2) regarding not being able to pay the burden of residence permits more and article 78 paragraph (3) regarding overstaying more than 60 days.

In addition, Sengky said, for the issuance of residence permits for foreigners, there was an increase of around 20 percent.

"Last year 28,549 people, this year reached 30,995 foreigners who dominated South Jakarta, South Koreans," he said.
