Condolences From Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo And Kylian Mbappe For The Late Pele
JAKARTA - World football legend from Brazil, Pele, passed away at the age of 82 on Thursday, December 29. Condolences and honors were given to the GOAT.
The Argentine national team star and Paris Saint-Germain player, Lionel Messi, uploaded a number of photos of himself with the legend during his lifetime. The photo was given a statement praying for the late Pele.
"Giving peace, Pele," wrote Messi on his Instagram account.
Another PSG star, Kylian Mbappe, also expressed his condolences for Pele's passing. Even though the legend has passed away, his legacy will not be hampered by time.
"The king of football has left us but his legacy has never been forgotten. RIP KING," Mbappe tweeted on his Twitter account.

Portugal's national team player, Cristiano Ronaldo, did not want to be left behind. He expressed his sorrow through Instagram social media and shared his sadness with his 525 million followers.
"My deep condolences to the whole of Brazil, and in particular to the family of Edson Arantes do Nascimento. Just a "goodbye" to the eternal King Pele will never be enough to express the pain that is currently felt by the whole world of football," wrote Ronaldo who accompanied his photo when receiving an award from Pele.
"Inspirations for millions of people, yesterday's references, today and forever. The love you always show me is inspired at every moment we share even from a distance. He will never be forgotten and his memory will live forever in every football lover. Rest in peace King Pele," he continued.
Pele died at the age of 82. Albert Einstein's hospital, which treated Pele, said the legend had died "due to a number of organ failures due to colon cancer development and some previous medical conditions."
