The Sawah Besar Police Will Use 90 Personnel, 1 Brimob Company And Sabhara For Christmas 2022 Security

JAKARTA - The Sawah Besar Police detailed that there were 32 churches in their area that carried out the 2022 Christmas service out of a total of 38 churches. Meanwhile, 6 other churches were reportedly not carrying out Christmas worship celebrations.

Kapolsek Sawah Besar, AKP Patar Mula Bona said, of the 32 churches, a large church and quite a number of its congregations had coordination meetings with the Sawah Besar Police.

"We have invited the coordination meeting since the 6th. All of our church administrators make groups to share information regarding their readiness," said AKP Patar Mula Bona when confirmed by VOI, Friday, December 23.

The creation of the information group also aims to facilitate the inspection of the readiness of the existing 32 churches. The readiness in question is related to the entrance, exit, mass time, congregation number, parking bag, checking people's belongings.

"The point is that the technical implementation of our security will collaborate with internal security. Especially for the cathedral church, there will be 16 PAM posts, standby from today until the D day of Christmas celebrations," he said.

The Sawah Besar Police deployed 90 total personnel to carry out PAM at the church. Apart from members of the Polsek, continued AKP Patar Mula Bona, security was then assisted by BKO members from Polda Metro Jaya.

"There is a company of Brimob and a company of Sabhara," he said.
