In Collaboration With Stock Exchange, The Ministry Of Tourism And Creative Economy To Open Roads Creative Economy Players Shares To The Public
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) cooperates with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to provide assistance to tourism and creative MSME players in developing their businesses, as well as reaching wider investors towards IPOs.
"So great potential and opportunity, especially in the capital market, is expected to encourage and accelerate tourism and creative economy business actors to be able to take the floor on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the initial public offering scheme or known as the Initial Public Offering," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno in his press statement, Friday, December 23.
Acceleration boards have been launched since 2019, which aims to facilitate companies with small and medium-scale assets, so that they can be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, referring to OJK Regulations Number 53 and 54 of 2017.
Hingga kini, sudah terdapat 25 Perusahaan Tercatat yang telah masuk dalam Papan Accelerasi.
"If the company feels healthy, sustainable, and ready to advance to class, there is no need to wait a lot to go public, but large by going public through capital market financing," said Sandiaga.
On the other hand, the Director of Financing Access at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, said that his party could collaborate with the IDX regarding future programs, as a form of collaboration by holding a Demo Day towards the IPO.
The participants came from the Capital Market Supporting Profession, such as Law Firm, Public Accounting Office, and Underwriter.
"The Capital Market Supporting Profession also needs to be standardized and meet with a one by one scheme with IDX Incubator participants," he said.
Furthermore, said Hayun, with this assistance, it can be a tangible manifestation that the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is an encouragement for tourism and creative economy businesses to immediately go to the IPO and list their shares on the IDX.
"In order to develop their business, create jobs, and work for mothers and mothers," he concluded.
