Data Collection Of Houses Affected By The Cianjur Earthquake Is Not In Accordance With The Damage, The DPRD Asks The Regency Government To Involve An Expert Team
JABAR - The DPRD asked the Cianjur Regency Government (Pemkab) to involve a team of experts and professional data collection personnel in verifying houses damaged by the earthquake. The reason is, many residents complain that receiving assistance is not in accordance with the damage.
Deputy Chairman of Commission A of the Cianjur DPRD, Isnaeni, said that his party found reports from residents whose houses were heavily damaged and almost collapsed and only received moderate damage. On the other hand, those who were lightly damaged received heavy damage.
"We ask related parties to immediately collect data related to heavily damaged houses that are categorized as moderately damaged, including that there are still many damaged houses that have not been recorded until one month after the disaster," he said when contacted Monday, December 19, quoted from Antara.
In fact, his party, said Isnaeni, carried out a direct cross-check of residents affected by the earthquake due to the large number of reports in the Districts of Cugenang, Pacet, and Warungkondang, regarding data collection that was not in accordance with the damage.
As a result, many data collections were deemed inaccurate because it seemed as long as the writing was carried out by unprofessional workers, so that a house that was not affected at all was found but was recorded to have received heavy damage.
"We also received many letters from professional organizations addressed to the Cianjur Regent regarding the wrongful data collection carried out by the verification team in the field. For this reason, we ask the Cianjur Regency Government to re-collect data related to damaged houses so that all earthquake victims receive assistance," he said.
The Regent of Cianjur, Herman Suherman, said that many received the same report regarding data collection that was not appropriate, so his party asked residents to report the matter through the village or special team that had been formed to re-collect data, so that all residents were registered.
"I have instructed that there is no time limit for collecting data, until all earthquake victims are recorded and receive assistance in accordance with the damage to their homes. As mandated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, heavily damaged houses will receive assistance of Rp. 60 million, moderate damage of Rp. 30 million and Light Rp. 15 million," he said.
