Anjlok Technical Train In Cikalongwetan, KCIC Conducts Investigation

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has spoken about the incident of a technical train that went off track at the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Rail Project (KCJB) in the Cipada area, Cikalongwetan, West Bandung Regency. GM Corporate Secretary KCIC Rahadian Rattry said the incident is currently still under investigation by related parties, including information on four injured workers. Furthermore, Rahadian explained that police officers had also arrived at the scene and carried out security. "KCIC will cooperate with the authorities to investigate this incident," he told the media, Monday, December 19. Rahadian also ensured that all work carried out by KCJB contractors always implements aspects of Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) in every work activity. "The contractors will commit to the self-security aspect of all workers so that the risk of work accidents can be avoided," he said.

As is known, the technical train exited the route at the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Rail Project (KCJB) in the Cipada area, Cikalongwetan, West Bandung Regency on Sunday, December 18. The video of the collapse of the technical train has also gone viral on social media, Twitter. An account with the username @ferry2121 uploaded a video showing the condition of the train. "The train fell on the KCIC line," Ferry wrote, quoted Monday, December 19. In the video, a carriage is seen coming out of the fast train project track which is being worked on by KCIC. The train is colored hojau with a yellow line. In the middle of the carriage, it appears that it has white Chinese writing.
