Jaya Raya Has A Historical Print After Cerebrating The PBSI National Championship For The Seventh Time!

JAKARTA - Badminton club, PB Jaya Raya, won the 2022 PBSI National Championship (Kejurnas) after defeating Mansion Exist with a score of 3-0 in the final, Saturday, December 17. This success makes them now make new history.

PB Jaya Raya has become a club that has won the PBSI National Championship seven times. Previously, they won this tournament in the 1996, 2000, 2006, 2012, 2014, and 2018 editions.

For that victory, PB Jaya Raya was entitled to a prize of Rp. 400 million. Meanwhile, the runner-up of Mansion Exist received Rp. 200 million.

Meanwhile, semifinalists such as PB Djarum Kudus and Sarwendah Badminton Club Jakarta each received Rp. 100 million.

"I see the players have struggled to get Jaya Raya to win. This victory is thanks to the cohesiveness of the players. If they appear in the team, players seem to have extraordinary energy. I am proud of the struggle of the players," said the Daily Chair of PB Jaya Raya, Imelda Wigoena, as quoted by Antara.

The chairman of the Jaya Development Foundation, Agus Lukita, assessed that this achievement was created thanks to the enthusiasm and determination of the club management to provide more intensive coaching since the last year.

He said, PB Jaya Raya began to regain more serious players since the COVID-19 pandemic began to subside.

"This success may also be due to the blessing of the guidance. Thank you to the players, coaches and support teams who have worked extraordinaryly," he said.
