750 DKI Transportation Agency Personnel Will Be Dropped During Christmas And New Year Celebrations

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) will deploy hundreds of its personnel during the 2023 Christmas and New Year celebrations. DKI Transportation Agency personnel will strengthen traffic regulation to terminals.

"We have also prepared approximately 750 personnel," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, to reporters, Saturday, December 17.

Syafrin also explained that his members would be placed with the police and the TNI in a number of churches. In Central Jakarta, for example, later there will be members assigned to the Cathedral Church and GPIB Immanuel.

"In East Jakarta (placed) at the Rawamangun HKBP, at the Santo Antonius Padua Church, the Halim Ecumenical Church, the Holy Catholic Church, and Santo Yosep," he explained.

Not only that, a number of personnel will be assigned to other churches. For example, the Santo Alfonsius Church in North Jakarta.

"So later we will place officers and make traffic and parking arrangements," he said.

"Each house of worship that will carry out worship will be prepared by officers to regulate traffic there," continued Syafrin.

Meanwhile, for the flow of Christmas homecoming, there are 2,258 Inter-City Inter-Provincial (AKAP) buses prepared by the DKI Transportation Agency. They are available at the four main terminals, namely Kalideres, Tanjung Priok, Pulogebang, and Kampung Rambutan.

"We also prepare pararel with that for night transportation. Later, Amari will serve so that the people who move at night are Amari," he concluded.
