Four State-Owned Enterprises Banks Deposit Rp64 Trillion To State From Taxes And Dividends
JAKARTA - The contribution of State-Owned Banks or Associations of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) to the state in the third quarter of 2022 reached IDR 64 trillion, an increase of 19.3 percent compared to the same period in the previous year, which was IDR 53.6 trillion. Deputy Assistant for Financial Services at the Ministry of SOEs Muhammad Khoerur Roziqin explained that Himbara's contribution consists of dividends and taxes. For dividends, he said, what Himbara distributed to the state reached IDR 24.6 trillion this year. "The contribution of Himbara itself is 61.8 percent of the total (divident) paid to the state of IDR 39.7 trillion," said Roziqin when met at the Ministry of SOEs, Thursday, December 15. Details of Himbara dividends in the same period this year include BRI amounting to IDR 14 trillion, Bank Mandiri IDR 8.7 trillion, BNI worth IDR 1.6 trillion, BTN IDR 143 billion. As for taxes, the contribution of BUMN Bank per third quarter of this year amounted to IDR 39.4 trillion. BRI occupies the largest set of people with a total of IDR 16.1 trillion. Then, Bank Mandiri IDR 15.1 trillion, BNI worth IDR 5.7 trillion, BTN IDR 2.3 trillion.
In terms of Himbara's profit, said Roziqin, net profit recorded until the third quarter of 2022 reached IDR 85.9 trillion. This figure has increased by 80.7 percent from the same period in 2021 of IDR 47.6 trillion. Himbara's profit contribution recorded 55 percent of the total BUMN profit of IDR 155 trillion in the third quarter of 2022. "This may be the highest growth in the history of Himbara from all aspects of performance," he said.
