Jadi Tersangka Korupsi Pengadaan Alat Besar Darat, Kepala BPKPD Kota Cirebon Ditahan Kejari

JAKARTA - Kejari Cirebon, Jawa Barat menduga bekas Kadis PUPR Cirebon berinisial S melakukan korupsi pengadaan alat besar darat pada tahun anggaran 2021.

"For now, only S (who has been named a suspect in a corruption case)," said Head of the Cirebon Kejari, Slamet Haryadi, Thursday, December 15, quoted from Antara.

The former Head of the Cirebon City PUPR Office with the initials S has now been detained, after undergoing a number of examinations by the Cirebon City Prosecutor's team on Wednesday (14/12) night.

Slamet said, the suspect is believed to have committed a criminal act of corruption while procuring large land equipment in the 2021 fiscal year.

At that time, the perpetrator, who is currently the Head of the Cirebon City Financial and Revenue Management Agency (BPKPD), marked up the price and large land equipment purchased not in accordance with the specifications of the contract.

"The person concerned is suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption of irregularities in the procurement of large land equipment from the Cirebon City Spatial Planning Public Works Office for the 2021 fiscal year," he said.

He added that from the procurement of the five large land equipment, the state was harmed by around Rp. 1 billion rupiah.

According to him, the case is still ongoing, and it is possible that there are other suspects, but investigators are still investigating.

"For others, it will follow based on the progress of the investigation," he said.

The former Head of the Cirebon City PUPR Office with the initials S was charged with Article 2 paragraph 1, subsidiary Article 3 concerning corruption with a minimum threat of 4 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison.
