Bad News For The French National Team Ahead Of Morocco's Opponents In The Quarter-finals: Upamecano And Rabiot Get Sick
JAKARTA - Bad news came from the French squad ahead against Morocco in the 2022 World Cup semifinals. Two of their players, Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot, were reported to have fallen ill.
The French Football Federation (FFF) confirmed that Upamecano and Rabiot had the flu. Upamecano has even been out since last Monday and Rabiot has only been undergoing indoor training.
Both are expected to recover from the auction match against the Morocco national team in the semifinals at Al Bayt Stadium on Dictionary, December 15 in the morning WIB.
But if Upamecano and Rabiot are forced to miss, sources say that Didier Deschamps has prepared another scheme, Reuters said on Wednesday, December 14.

Meanwhile, Upamecano has appeared four times as a starter, and has never been replaced. In the match against Tunisia, he was rested and his position was filled by Konate.
