The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Continues To Find Out Where The Bribes Are, Lukas Enembe Explained
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate the use of bribes suspected of being Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. This investigation was carried out by examining two witnesses from the private sector, Suminta and Mala Riany Wattimena.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the two witnesses were questioned on Monday, December 12. They were questioned at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"The two witnesses were present and their knowledge was investigated, among others, still related to the alleged flow of use by the suspect LE," Ali told reporters, Tuesday, December 13.
Actually, the KPK will also examine a private witness named Suci Marlina. It's just that, Ali said he was not present.
"The witness was not present and the reschedule for the recall was immediately informed to the person concerned," he said.
Previously, the KPK had the opportunity to ensnare Lukas Enembe with the article on Money Laundering (TPPU). The investigation of assets owned by the regional head continues to be carried out by summoning witnesses.
One of the witnesses examined was a private person named Mustakim. During the examination which was held on Wednesday, November 23, he was asked by investigators about the purchase of various assets made by Lukas.
In addition, investigators also examined the treasurer of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Meike and PT Tabi Bangun employee Willcius. The two witnesses were questioned regarding the money used by Lukas for their personal interests.
Meanwhile, Lukas Enembe has been named a suspect by the KPK. However, the detention has not been carried out because he is still sick.
