JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate the use of bribes suspected of being Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. This investigation was carried out by examining two witnesses from the private sector, Suminta and Mala Riany Wattimena.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the two witnesses were questioned on Monday, December 12. They were questioned at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"The two witnesses were present and their knowledge was investigated, among others, still related to the alleged flow of use by the suspect LE," Ali told reporters, Tuesday, December 13.

One of the witnesses examined was a private person named Mustakim. During the examination which was held on Wednesday, November 23, he was asked by investigators about the purchase of various assets made by Lukas.

In addition, investigators also examined the treasurer of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Meike and PT Tabi Bangun employee Willcius. The two witnesses were questioned regarding the money used by Lukas for their personal interests.

Meanwhile, Lukas Enembe has been named a suspect by the KPK. However, the detention has not been carried out because he is still sick.
