NTB - The police received a report of a sodomy case with the mode of opening a community called "Aggression" which was allegedly carried out by a lecturer. The association is located in the Gunungsari area, West Lombok Regency.

Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police Commissioner Syarif Hidayat said the report is now a record of handling the last case at the end of 2024.

"Because this incident was in September, we have to carry out an in-depth investigation," he said.

For today, explained Syarif, his party followed up on the report by conducting a crime scene (TKP) which was at the lecturer's association.

"Today our team conducted a crime scene investigation to take a sketch. Because it happened in Gunungsari, the team went there to find out where the victim was, where was the reported position at that time," said Syarif.

In addition to conducting TKP processing, in the investigation process, his party also investigated the information of the reporter who stated that there were other victims.

"We will investigate who the victims were before, we will look for and extract information from them. If we can indeed take the information under investigation, it is better, because it will strengthen the evidence for the incident or the actions allegedly committed by this person (lecturer)," he said.

Likewise, the reported mode of committing the crime in activities in the association. Syarif ensured that this would be revealed in the investigation process.

"This is what we will explore, what the modus operandi is, but the information obtained that this victim considers the perpetrator to have spiritual power, that's the first, the second, considers that this perpetrator is a respected person, a respected person," he said.

For requests for information against the reported party, Syarif ensured that his party would do this in a series of investigations.

"So, we first complete the evidence that leads to it (sodomy actions), then to the individual (lecturers)," he said.
