KSAL Asks For High Public Trust Don't Make IT Complacent: Must Keep Hard Work

JAKARTA - The Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) who was also appointed as TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono ensured that public trust in the TNI was the responsibility of all personnel without exception.

"Then regarding the TNI being the highest public trust, of course this is our shared responsibility," said Admiral Yudo after the ceremony to release Sailing Camp Perti Saka Bahari in Jakarta, Friday, December 9, as reported by Antara.

Responding to the results of the Indonesian Poltracking survey regarding public trust in state institutions and democratic institutions, Yudo stated that the success of the TNI in ranking the top was something to be grateful for.

"This achievement must be used by personnel, to work harder in maintaining public trust wherever they are," he said.

Yudo even asked that the predicate of trust be maintained as well as possible and maintained.

He emphasized that the TNI, especially the Navy, will continue to maintain public trust by continuing to maintain all good performance or programs.

Then, related to a number of individuals in its agency who have the potential to reduce public trust, Yudo stated that he would take firm action and continue to evaluate.

"Of course we maintain what is good, what we do not evaluate and must be improved, so that public trust in the TNI is still maintained," said Yudo Margono.

Previously, the Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia Hanta Yuda revealed that the Indonesian National Army (TNI) institution managed to rank the highest as the institution most trusted by the public through a survey that was held on his side on November 21-27, 2022.

In the results of the Poltracking survey, public satisfaction with the TNI reached 68.6 percent, followed by the Presidential Agency 62.2 percent, the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) 61.9 percent, the General Elections Commission (KPU) 61 percent and the Supreme Court (MA) 60.6 percent.

Meanwhile, other institutions get achievements below 60 percent.
