The Bank Indonesia Representative Office In Tokyo Moves Locations, Governor Perry Warjiyo Comes Directly To Release
JAKARTA Bank Indonesia (BI) representative of Tokyo, Japan is reportedly occupying a new office building in JP Tower Room 2619, 2-7-2 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo after previously being in the New Kokusai Building Room 906 No. 4 -1, Marunouchi 3 - Chome Chiyoda-ku.
In a press release quoted by the editors today, it was discovered that BI Governor Perry Warjiyo flew directly to Tokyo to inaugurate the representative office.
"The new Tokyo Bank Indonesia office is expected to increase the role of Bank Indonesia as a real central bank by strengthening synergies and continuing to innovate in various fields," Perry said, Friday, December 9.
It was explained that there were three important things related to the role of the Bank Indonesia foreign representative office (KPwLN). First, infrastructure support to support the implementation of Bank Indonesia's duties abroad
Second, the role of KPwLN in the transformation of international policy, including in compiling international economic and financial assessments.
"This analysis is expected to be able to provide credible policy recommendations for the formulation of BI policies at the head office," he said.
Third, the strategic role of the Tokyo KPwLN in carrying out its duties in synergizing with various stakeholders, including the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo.
"These synergies are carried out through various investment forums, and trade promotions to encourage investment in Indonesia," Perry said.
On the same occasion, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Japan and the Micronesian Federation, Heri Akhmadi, appreciated BI's presence in Tokyo, which has helped many activities in economic diplomacy, both formally and informally.
"Hopefully with this new office the synergy will continue to be better," he said.
The inauguration of the Bank Indonesia Tokyo Representative Office was also attended by the Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Dody Budi Waluyo, Attachment Officials at the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo and the Indonesia Investment Promotion Center in Japan, as well as BUMN Representative Officials in Japan.
