North Sumatra Marketing Kejari Disseminates 133 Cases Of Evidence, Including 2.2 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine
NORTH Sumatra - The Kisaran District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in North Sumatra destroyed evidence (BB) in the form of narcotics and other general criminal cases that had permanent legal force.
Head of the District Attorney's Office (Kajari) Kisaran Dadyng Wibiyanto Atabay said the number of general criminal cases in the period from July 20 to November 30, 2022 with a total of 133 cases.
With details, 84 cases of narcotics, 4 cases of gambling, embezzlement or fraud 2 cases, 12 cases of theft, and 3 cases of murder.
"Then, 5 cases of abuse, 1 case of child protection, 3 cases of Indonesian migrant workers, 17 cases of plantations, and 2 cases of extortion/threatment," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, December 7, confiscated by Antara.
Dadyng said the types of evidence destroyed were 2,246.15 grams of methamphetamine or about 2.2 kg of marijuana, 122.2 grams of marijuana, 0.39 grams of ecstasy pills (2 pills), 6 sickles/legreks, 6 hammers and 72 cellphones.
"All of the evidence, including evidence of narcotics and non-narcotics, was destroyed and burned," he said.
Meanwhile, Asahan Police Chief AKBP Roman Smaradhana Elhaj, after participating in the destruction of evidence, invited all parties to jointly participate in eradicating drug trafficking that could threaten the younger generation, especially in the Asahan Regency area.
"If there are indications of narcotics abuse, immediately inform law enforcement so that they can be dealt with quickly," said Roman.
