Yesterday, The National Police Chief Met Members Of The Astanaanyar Police And The Community, Victims Of Suicide Bombings

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo met with members of the Astanaanyar Police who were victims of suicide bombings at Immanuel Hospital, Bandung, West Java, Wednesday, December 7. On that occasion he saw the condition of his members, and the community lay in hospital beds with a number of injuries from the bomb explosion.

"The suicide bombing incident resulted in not only the victims of the suicide perpetrators who died. However, several members were injured and one died," Sigit said during his visit, Wednesday, December 7.

To date, 11 people have been victims of the incident. In detail, 10 police officers and one community were injured. In fact, one police officer died.

As the head of the Bhayangkara Corps institution, Sigit expressed his deep condolences to the police personnel who died in the incident.

"Therefore, of course, on this occasion I as the leader of the National Police express my condolences, my condolences to the deceased, hopefully, the best place will be given by Allah SWT and of course all the families left behind will be given strength and fortitude," said Sigit.

On this occasion, without reducing feelings of grief, Sigit conveyed to all police personnel to continue to carry out their duties professionally in providing a sense of security and peace to all Indonesian people.

"I ask for prayers from all friends and the community. So that all members remain enthusiastic about carrying out their main task of protecting and protecting the community," said Sigit.

Previously, Sigit also directly inspected the scene of the suicide bombing at the Astana Anyar Police Headquarters, Bandung, West Java.

In his review, Sigit emphasized that he had instructed all levels of police personnel to thoroughly investigate the suicide bombing.

"Of course, all of this is being investigated. So we ask all our colleagues to be able to help us and our team to be able to complete it optimally. The entire team and task force have been ordered to all move," said Sigit at the Astana Anyar Police Headquarters.
