Zulhas Assessed Almost All Cadres In The Province Propose Ganjar Pranowo To Be The Presidential Candidate For PAN

SEMARANG - Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan received input from his cadres in Central Java who supported Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate. He will bring this aspiration for discussion with the United Indonesia Coalition.

"Central Java has decided on one name, Mr. Ganjar Pranowo to be promoted as a presidential and vice presidential candidate that was submitted to the DPP earlier," he said after the event with PAN cadres in Central Java, at the Grasia Hotel, Semarang, Friday, December 2.

The Minister of Trade explained that there is a mechanism that must be done. Namely communicating with the Central Management Board.

"Of course later we will convey the mechanism at the DPP when the time is right," he said.

Zulhas said that the proposal for PAN to carry Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate appeared in almost all regions.

"Indeed, almost all areas have their voices," he said.

Apart from the DPP, the man born in Lampung also said that he would convey the aspirations of this region to KIB. Moreover, PAN itself is not enough to carry its presidential and vice presidential candidates. According to him, from the Golkar Party and PPP there must also be a proposal for a presidential candidate.

"Later there will be Golkar proposing, PAN proposes, PPP proposes, we have a relationship. Because I can't announce it either. That's why later we will negotiate with KIB, later KIB will also add more. The process is because there are 20 percent requirements," said Zulhas.

Asked about the presence of Erick Thohir, who was allegedly the choice of a vice presidential candidate, Zulhas admitted that he was already ontol with the SOE Minister.

"I've been in the same days. The strongest or not, the best term is," he said.

Meanwhile, Governor Ganjar Pranowo did not respond much after the event. The declaration of support that emerged from PAN Central Java, said Ganjar, must be respected. He also said that this matter would definitely communicate between parties

"That's the decision of the institution, thank you. (Communication with the party?) definitely between parties will talk. Yes, each has rules, of course we respect it," he concluded.
