PKS Suggests Jokowi Leaves Volunteers, It's Over What Do You Want?
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Central Leadership Council of PKS, Mardani Ali Sera, agreed with PDIP DPP Chair Said Abdullah who suggested that President Joko Widodo leave volunteers who could potentially lead him in the wrong direction.
According to Mardani, Jokowi no longer needs to respond to input from volunteers like Benny Ramdhani who propose law enforcement against attackers or critics of the government. This is because Jokowi's reign will end in less than two years. After all, Jokowi can no longer put himself forward as a presidential candidate in 2024.
"Yes, I agree (Jokowi left volunteers). Mr. Jokowi is finished, what else do you want?" said Mardani, Tuesday, November 29.
Mardani assessed that it would be better for Jokowi to end his leadership on a good note. One of them, there is no need to take part in events made by volunteers.
Moreover, the event was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, which was previously called the Menpora, which could not be used because it was in preparation for the U-20 World Cup in early 2023.
"So don't be tarnished by the activities of volunteers like this", said Mardani.
VOIR éGALEMENT:
Previously, the Chairman of the Central Leadership Council of PDIP, Said Abdullah, advised President Jokowi to leave the volunteers who could potentially lead him down the wrong path. That said Said, volunteers should support, not beg for things that cause a commotion.
Said said this in response to Benny Rhamdani who asked for permission to fight in the field against government attackers if law enforcement did not work.
"In my opinion, the legacy is extraordinary, and the soft landing is good. If there are volunteers with quotation marks like that, just leave them. Yes (leave) that, it's not a volunteer, it's not a volunteer", Said explain, Monday, November 28.
Said assessed that Benny's request for volunteers to Jokowi, even if he asked for his blessing or permission, still could not be justified. Moreover, he said, the request for permission was to attack certain parties who were considered opponents. He also asked Benny not to push the president in the wrong direction.
"Just imagine, asking for permission to attack people, our president has extraordinary ethics, has extraordinary manners, and our president is unlikely to interfere in legal matters", said Said.
