3.000 Joint TNI Personnel Police Welcome The Vice President's Visit To Jayapura
JAKARTA A total of 3,000 joint military officers were dispatched to secure the working visit of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin to Jayapura, Papua, today, Monday, November 28 to Tuesday, November 29.
The Commander of the Military Resort (Danrem) 172/Praja Wira Yakthi Brigadier General JO Sembiring in Jayapura said the thousands of joint personnel were alerted at locations that would be visited and passed by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and his entourage.
"We have checked and the members are immediately placed in predetermined places," Sembiring said quoting Antara, Sunday, November 27.
The preparedness ceremony was held to check troops who would secure VVIP guests at every point, including checking the location of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's visit.
Sembiring also hopes that all parties, especially religious leaders, community leaders, and all residents in Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency, together maintain peace and peace during Ma'ruf Amin's visit to Papua.
To all security forces, Sembiring instructed them to continue to anticipate the movement of residents who wanted to hinder the smooth visit of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's working visit to Jayapura is scheduled to inaugurate the Office of the Steering Committee for the Acceleration of Special Autonomy Development for Papua (BP3OKP), an audience with the Papua Provincial Government, and visit an early childhood education institution (PAUD) in Jayapura.
