Messi Said After Argentina Was Beaten By Saudi Arabia: It Was A Very Heavy Blow
JAKARTA - Lionel Messi called Argentina's surprise defeat to Saudi Arabia in the 2022 World Cup Group C match a "very heavy blow".
Meskipun demikian Messi menjanjikan bahwa juara Amerika Selatan itu akan naik dari kekalahan tersebut.
"It was a very heavy blow, a painful defeat," said Messi, who has declared the 2022 World Cup his last World Cup, citing Antara, Tuesday.
"But we have to keep faith in ourselves," continued the 35-year-old.
"This team will not give up. We will try to beat Mexico," concluded Messi.
This defeat left Argentina for the first time conceded two goals after in the previous 23 matches they had never conceded two goals or more.
