Together With Ganjar, Jokowi Blusukan Check Price Of Goods At The Colomadu Karanganyar Market
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) paid a working visit to Central Java Province, Monday, November 21. Starting, the head of state visited Malangjiwan Colomadu Market, Karanganyar Regency.
Jokowi arrived at the market at around 08.05 WIB, then distributed Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) and basic necessities to market traders.
Not only that, but the President also greeted the traders as well as checked the prices of goods in the market.
"This is the end of the year, we check the prices of goods in the market, because the conditions of each province are also different," said Jokowi based on a press release received Monday, November 21.
According to the President, routine visits to the market are carried out to determine the prices of goods in the market.
On Thursday, November 17, Jokowi also visited Badung Market in Denpasar, Bali. The President found price differences between the provinces.
"Yesterday I checked in Bali, it turned out to be different from the ones in other provinces, we checked this in Central Java Province," said the President.
One of them is the price of cooking oil and tempeh which is currently known to be increasing.
Based on the findings of the price increase, the President said he would soon find a solution to overcome the price increases that occurred in the market.
"Yes, that's the price in the field that we found and later a solution will be found," he explained.
Also accompanying the President on this visit was the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo.
