COVID-19 Update as of November 12: 6,179 Positive Cases Found
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 58,868 specimens were examined with results of 6,179 people being confirmed positive for COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,556,627", as quoted from Ministry of Health data, Saturday, November 12.
Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 4,139 cases, bringing the total to 6,348,259 recovered people. Then, 33 positive confirmed cases died and a total of 159,068 people.
Still referring to data from the Ministry of Health, the province with the highest number of new cases was DKI Jakarta with 2,511 cases. This brings the total to 1,472,031 cases.
Followed by West Java with 1,012 new cases. Then, East Java with the addition of 732 cases per day, and Banten with 528 cases.

On the other hand, DKI Jakarta is also the province with the most recovered cases today with the addition of 1998 cases.
The province of East Java also recorded quite a several recoveries. Around 648 people have recovered from COVID-19.
Then, Banten with a recovery rate of 549 cases, and West Java with an additional 382 cases recovered.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens to date has reached 111,213,051.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people for today is 22.19 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 5,622 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
