BMKG Ramakan DKI Jakarta, Jawa Timur, Bali Hingga Sulawesi Utara Diguyur Hujan Deras Hari Ini
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued an early warning of heavy rain followed by lightning and strong winds that hit DKI Jakarta, East Java (East Java), Bali, North Sulawesi (Sulut) and a number of areas in Indonesia today, Friday 11 November.
Based on the BMKG website on the Antara side, the potential for heavy rain has also hit the provinces of Aceh, Bengkulu, Jambi, Lampung, Riau, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, North Sumatra, Banten and West Java.
Similar conditions also have the potential to occur in West Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi.
Furthermore, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Papua, and West Papua.
The BMKG revealed that the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds based on cyclonic circulation was observed in the Natuna Sea and in the Pacific Ocean north of Halmahera.
The cyclone forms a wind speed meeting area that extends from the Natuna Sea to the eastern waters of Riau, from Jambi to the northern Karimata Strait, and in the eastern Pacific Ocean of the Philippines.
The convergence area was also observed extending in the Indian Ocean west of North Sumatra-Lampung, from the Malacca Strait to West Sumatra, from the western Java Sea to West Kalimantan, in the southern and northern waters of East Java, from East Kalimantan to North Kalimantan, and in the northern waters of Papua.
This condition, conveyed by BMKG, was able to increase the potential for rain cloud growth around the cyclonic circulation area and along the convergence area.
Especially for the DKI Jakarta area, BMKG predicts that some areas of DKI Jakarta will experience rain on Friday morning, namely West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta will experience light rain. Meanwhile, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are predicted to be cloudy.
Then in the afternoon, moderate rain will flush West Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta. Central Jakarta and North Jakarta experience light rain, then the Thousand Islands are expected to be cloudy.
Meanwhile, at night all of DKI Jakarta experienced light rain.
