Zoom Will Can Be USED In Tesla Cars, Danger Kah?
JAKARTA - Tesla drivers will soon be able to make video and audio calls directly from their vehicle touch screen dashboard with the Zoom app.
According to the company's announcement at the Zoomtopia 2022 event recently, users can make video and audio calls without using a mobile device.
Zoom Group Product Manager Natasha Walia explained that while showing a short video demonstration of this new capability, Zoom will be integrated directly into Tesla Model Y.
Then, Zoom will likely use a camera in Tesla's cabin located above the rear view of the rear of the rear of the rear of the mirror, allowing Tesla owners to see exactly what the camera is monitoring and using it as a live pass.
The video also shows a Tesla driver making a Zoom call while recharging his vehicle.
Unfortunately, no specific details are given about how Zoom integration will work, or when Tesla owners can expect Zoom to be available in their cars. Whether Zoom will work on WiFi or requires the Add-on Premium Connectivity to work is also unknown.
Launching CNN International, Thursday, November 10, it is also not known for sure whether drivers can use it while driving or not, as many automotive manufacturers say cars must be parked before the function of the video can be used by the driver.
However, the feature itself is one that Tesla has been thinking about for years. In May 2020, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in a tweet adding Zoom calls to Tesla's vehicle was a future feature.
As previously reported, Zoom has also launched other new tools including the integration of email services and direct calendars into services, AI conversations and chatbots that help solve problems, and support for developers to monetize their apps on the Zoom Marketplace App.
