JAKARTA - A 500-square meter bushy field located in the JGC area, Cakung, East Jakarta, caught fire, Friday night, November 4. The fire burned the obstacles in the area, causing black smoke to billow in the air. "The object that caught fire on the JGC land belonging to the local government. The cause was deliberately burned," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman in a statement, Friday night, November 4. The fire incident was reported by the Cakung sub-district head to the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. at around 19.53 WIB.

"The blackout was carried out by 20.17 WIB by 3 fire engines with 13 officers at the fire site," he said. The fire was successfully localized at 21.30 WIB and started cooling at 21.45 WIB. "The fire ended at 22.40 WIB. From the available information, the land fire was deliberately burned to clear the plantation land by someone with the initials HB. Currently, the fire has been extinguished," he said.
