Three Suspects of Corruption Procurement of People's Ships Detained by the Lembata State Prosecutor
NTT - The Lembata State Prosecutor's Office, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) detained three suspects in a corruption case in the procurement of people's ships (DAK transportation) of the Public Works Spatial Planning and Transportation Office of Lembata Regency FY 2019 which cost the state more than IDR 700 million.
"There are three suspects who have been detained by investigators from the Lembata District Attorney's Office in the corruption case in the procurement of people's ships in Lembata," said the Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office, Abdul Hakim, quoting Antara, Sunday, October 30.
He said the three suspects detained by prosecutors' investigators were PB as a budget user, MF a commitment maker, and HAM as a service provider or contractor for CV Fajar Indah Pratama.
"HAM is currently serving a criminal sentence at the Makassar Detention Center in another case," said Abdul Hakim.
The corruption case in the procurement of people's ships began when there was a ship procurement activity allocated from the transportation affirmation special allocation fund (DAK) from the Ministry of Villages of the Republic of Indonesia FY 2029 with a value of IDR 2.5 billion, which was carried out by CV Fajar Indah Pratama.

In the procurement of the ship, it is not equipped with documents for the completeness of the ship which is the last work according to the contract that must be fulfilled by the provider, and is not equipped with sailing test documents.
He said that based on the results of the calculation of state financial losses (PKKN) conducted by public accountants, the state suffered a loss of more than IDR 700 million.
The suspects, he said, namely MF and PB have been detained by investigators of the Lembata District Attorney's Office for 20 days in Lembata Class II Prison since October 27, 2022, except for HAM who is currently serving a sentence in a detention house in Makassar because he is entangled in another criminal case.
