After that, the developer decided to postpone the release again until 2022, and now the game will be released in 2023 for PC players.
The developer revealed in Steam's blog that the Kerbal Space Program 2 has been fully redesigned from the bottom up to meet the demands of modern and next-generation space exploration, while retaining the monumental foundation of the first game.
Released at Early Access, KSP 2 will allow players to view the main features in the game when released and players are given the opportunity to deliver their feedback while playing.
"We will listen to and see reactions to these changes, and like the original game, this journey will help us take advantage of a very powerful tool for our passionate community," said target Gomez, lead producer for Kerbal Space Program 2, quoted Sunday 23 October.
New features will be added regularly through Early Access which will attract veterans and new players.
"By releasing it at Early Access, we are entering a new phase where players can experience systems, features, updates, and others that are highly anticipated when they are online," he said further.
