Money Circulation At The Lake Poso Capai Festival Is IDR 131 Million

The circulation of money at the Lake Poso Festival (FDP) in Pamona Pusalemba District, Tentena City, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, on October 20-22 2022 reached IDR 131 million.

"The total money circulating until the third night of the FDP implementation reached Rp. 131 million," said Head of the Central Sulawesi Provincial Tourism Office, Diah Agustiningsih in Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

He explained that the calculation was only carried out specifically in the FDP organizing arena, which collaborated with the Bank Indonesia (BI) analyst representing Central Sulawesi. The calculation, continued Agustiningsih, aims to see firsthand the impact of FDP's economic growth because it will be one of the evaluation materials for the oldest festival in Central Sulawesi.

"We do specialize in cooperation with BI Central Sulawesi to find out how much impact FDP has had on the community," he said. Agustiningsih detailed, the circulation of money on the first day of FDP implementation was Rp. 35,397,000, while the second day was Rp. 39,841,000 and the third day of FDP reached Rp. 55,945,000.

"Once again, this calculation target only involves 80 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and small and medium industries (IKM) or those in the FDP arena," he said. Previously, the Central Sulawesi Provincial Tourism Office (Dispar Sulteng) exhibited 80 MSME and Small and Medium Industry (IKM) products at the Lake Poso Festival (FDP) in Pamona Pusalemba District, Tentena City from 20-22 October 2022.

The presence of dozens of MSMEs is a form of commitment that the tourism sector will create a competitive independent tourism village, as well as become the locomotive of the revival of the Central Sulawesi economy.
