TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa Invites The Thai Military To Follow The 2023 Super Garuda Shield Exercise

JAKARTA - The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa wants and invites the Thai military to participate in the 2023 Super Garuda Shield exercise.

"It is very good for TNI soldiers to be able to take part in various multinational exercises," said TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa via the YouTube channel of General TNI Andika Perkasa which was monitored in Jakarta, Sunday.

This was said by the former Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) when receiving a visit from the Thai Group Defense Attach, Captain Chayot Sawansan.

The 21st TNI Commander said his meeting with the Thai Defense Attache was part of strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and the White Elephant Country.

Strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, he said, includes discussing the tourism, culture, development, and innovation sectors in various fields.

The meeting of the two is a discussion room to get to know each other. General Andika's dialogue with Captain Chayot Sawansan discussed various joint exercises held by Thailand.

In the joint exercise, a number of TNI soldiers took part or participated. The former Commander of the Army Strategic Command (Pangkostrad) hopes that personnel who participate can learn from various countries and expand friendship.

Thailand Group Defense Attache Captain Chayot Sawansan said the military force in his country continues to increase and update.

"We have combat exercises involving 15 countries," said Captain Chayot Sawansan.
