Fulfill Earth's Gas Needs In Bintaro, PGN Teken MoU With Jaya Real Property

JAKARTA - PT PGN Tbk collaborated with PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JRP) for the development of household jargas and commercial hotels, restaurants, cafes (horeka) in the Bintaro Jaya and Graha Raya Housing areas, Tangerang.

This agreement was stated by the Memorandum of Understanding between PGN and JRP which was signed by PGN's General Manager of SOR II Sonny Rahmawan Abdi and JRP Director Adi Wijaya, witnessed directly by PGN's Director of Infrastructure and Technology Achmad Muchtasyar on Wednesday, October 5.

PGN Director of Infrastructure and Technology Achmad Muchtasyar explained that the potential for housing in the Bintaro area and its surroundings is a total of 35,000 household connections and approximately 241 commercial potentials include hotels, restaurants, and cafes (horeka).

PGN will build a dedicated 37 KM pipeline from the existing pipeline on Jalan Raya Serpong to the Bintaro area in stages.

PGN also ensures that the entire administrative and construction processes run well, so that the implementation of gas in customers can be realized according to the set target.

Cooperation with JRP is expected to help the success of the PGN jargas program. Many dynamics and challenges in building jargas, with JRP being a good example in carrying out jargas milestones. We are ready to carry out infrastructure development and prepare all needs in terms of attracting customers with JRP. With the future jargas, Bintaro as a modern area can be more modern," said Achmad in a written statement, Monday, October 10.

Meanwhile, JRP Director Adi Wijaya said that his party supports the PGN jargas program, considering that gas is a National Strategic Program (PSN) project that must be succeeded.

"We will coordinate with PGN and everything related to the development of gas networks will be informed to each other," he said.

The fulfillment of PGN's natural gas for households and horeka through our Gas products uses a pipeline network, so that gas flows will always be available 24 hours a week, practical, safe, and environmentally friendly.

In addition, PGN continues to improve customer service by providing products other than natural gas in accordance with the needs of modern people.

The installation of PGN's natural gas pipeline network is in accordance with the standards and is carried out by a certified entity.

For the convenience of users, routine network maintenance is carried out and equipped with safety equipment such as gas alarm system.

PGN also provides protection in the event of a fire in the household gas pipeline network, as well as a customer card to facilitate communication between customers and PGN officers regarding natural gas.
