But heavy rains also occurred in Bogor, we are on standby, the public also hopes to be vigilant," Theofilo said as quoted by Antara, Sunday, October 9.Theofilo appealed that during the rainy season people need to be vigilant. Moreover, the rain that usually occurs in Bogor from September to January has shifted to March in recent years. "Check buildings, trees, electricity flow is important during extreme weather," he said.Monitoring in Bogor, the line was felt at 17.03 WIB in about 5 seconds, or one minute after the data reported by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) at 17.02 WIB there was an earthquake measuring 5.5 at 7.09 South Latitude (LS) 106.08 East Longitude with a depth of 12 kilometers.The fine shock occurred during heavy rains that had fallen since 15.00 WIB in the Bogor City area. BMKG estimates that the weather will be sunny again at 22.00 WIB.BMKG predicts the potential for rainfall with light to heavy intensity which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds will occur from October 9 to October 15, 2022 in West Java.Areas that will be affected include Regency and City of Bogor, Depok City, Bekasi Regency and City, Sukabumi Regency and City, Cianjur Regency, Karawang Regency, Purwakarta Regency, Subang Regency, West Bandung Regency, Cimahi City.Furthermore, Bandung Regency and City, Garut Regency, Sumedang Regency, Cirebon Regency and City, Indramayu Regency, Majalengka Regency, Kuningan Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency and City, Ciamis Regency, Banjar City, and Pangandaran Regency.
