Police Arrest Roy Marthen Of Fugitive Cases Of Mutilation 4 Mimika Residents
TIMIKA - The alleged perpetrator of the mutilation of four residents of Nduga Regency, Timika, who was on the wanted list (DPO), was finally arrested.
The joint team of the Cartenz Peace Task Force and the Mimika Police arrested Roy Marthen Howai on Saturday, October 8.
"It is true that the person concerned was arrested at around 15.00 WIT, and is currently still being investigated," said Mimika Police Chief AKBP I Gede Putra, as reported by Antara.
As previously reported, six TNI soldiers and four civilians killed four residents of Nduga Regency in Timika by mutilating the victim's body and putting it in a sack.
The four residents who were victims of mutilation were Arnold Lokbere, Irian Nirigi, Leman Nirigi, and Atis Tini. Now the body parts found have been buried traditionally.
The four Nduga residents were killed by dismemberment on August 22, 2022 at SP 1 Timika.
From the testimony of witnesses during the reconstruction carried out in Timika, Saturday, September 3, it was revealed that the murder plan was led by a suspect who was a member of the Indonesian Army. Meanwhile, the target of the victims is determined by RMH.
