ASN Natuna Asked To Set Aside 1 Kg Of Rice/Moon For The Poor, Regent: Only Rp15 Thousand, Can Lah

JAKARTA - State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Natuna Regency Government, Riau Islands is asked to collect one kilo of rice every month to distribute to underprivileged residents in the context of community economic recovery.

"The idea arose after seeing firsthand the difficulties experienced by the Natuna people, in the midst of a declining economic condition," said Natuna Regent Wan Siswandi in Bukit Arai, Natuna, Friday, October 7, as reported by Antara.

According to Wan Siswandi, in addition to helping people who are in trouble, the donations of rice that are made sincerely will be rewarded for the people who help.

I went to the villages, it was really difficult for our community. We consider this infaq, alms or what will be called, we collect all of them at the Regent's office, we will distribute them to those in need every early months," he said.

Regarding the technical collection of rice, according to Wan Siswandi, it was handed over to their respective offices, after collecting it, then handed over to the regional secretariat to be distributed.

"If we can do that, it's amazing, the rice is only Rp. 15,000, that can be it," he said.

Deputy Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda also added that this was so that all ASN when buying rice must use domestic products.

"If you can buy rice, local rice products, let's revive local farmers and the local economy as well," said Rodhial Huda.

Meanwhile, Assistant III of the Natuna Regency Government, Tasrif also proposed that in addition to donations of rice, employees within the Natuna Regency Government also carry out additional incentives, namely Rp2,000 per Friday.

"We welcome this idea, with the donation collected, it will be able to help people who really need it, especially in the midst of an urgent situation and need quick help," said the Deputy Regent.
