Leading Football Agent In England▁Utama Former Director Of Chelsea Marina Granovskaia, Arrested Then Released
JAKARTA - A leading British football agent whose name has been kept secret is being investigated by the police. He is suspected of extorting a former Chelsea director, Marina Granovskaia.
The agent reportedly sent an email to the Granovskai threat that had an important role in the transfer market while still working at Chelsea.
According to a report by The Times, Granovskaia received the threatening email before her departure from the Blues. The agent reportedly demanded a payment of £300,000.
The agent considered the money his role in the transfer which involved a lot of money. He then poses a threat if he doesn't get the money.
"I'm going to make you pay for the way you've been. This is not a threat... it's a promise. If Chelsea doesn't pay, it's your responsibility... see you when I see you," reads the email The Times later released.
I will give you a chance to improve the situation if you apologize for your behavior towards me. Otherwise, I promise to make you pay for the way you are with me at a personal and business level."
"This is not a threat so accept myleg. This is a promise I give to anyone who tries to play with me in everything in life. In short, you owe me and my partner 300 thousand which must be paid as soon as possible. If Chelsea doesn't pay for it, you have to pay the debt. I've finished trying to be kind to you," continued the email content.
Granovskaia notified Chelsea and the Metropolitan Police of the email. The agent has reportedly been arrested and later released on bail.
