Tomorrow Rizieq Shihab And His Son-in-law Are Examined, The Police Ask Supporters Not To Take Them

JAKARTA - The leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab, his son-in-law Muhammad Irfan Alaydrus, and the FPI Legal Division will be investigated by Polda Metro Jaya investigators, Tuesday, December 1.

They will be questioned as witnesses regarding the alleged violation of the health protocol for the wedding ceremony of Irfan Alaydrus and Najwa Shihab some time ago in Petambutan, Central Jakarta. This event will be held on November 14, or four days after Rizieq Shihab returned from Arabia.

"Tomorrow there are three that we will examine. First is the FPI Legal Bureau. Then we will call on the MRS initials HA. Then we will summon the three MRS tomorrow (Tuesday 1 December)," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus at his office, Monday, November 30. .

Yusri hopes that the three of them can fulfill the summons for questioning. "We believe that we Indonesian citizens must obey the law," said Yusri.

According to Yusri, there is no problem if the three of them are not present at the summons. However, he said, if that happens they must provide a clear explanation.

"The mechanism can provide a definite reason according to the law. For example, the person concerned is sick, the reason for being sick by carrying a sick certificate from the doctor. Later the doctor will check what the pain is. It's not possible for a sick person to be examined," he said.

It's just that, he asked if Rizieq Shihab and his son-in-law Irfan Alaydrus answered the call, his party asked their supporters not to come to Polda Metro Jaya. Because, currently it is still in a COVID-19 situation.

"We hope not (supporters to Polda Metro Jaya). We must obey the law," he said.

The Polda Metro Jaya previously raised allegations of violation of the health protocol (prokes) for Rizieq Shihab's daughter's wedding from investigation to investigation.

Based on the title of the case, the police found an alleged violation of Law number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine. Currently investigators are gathering evidence that supports the alleged violation.
