DKI Circulating Early Detection Of Air Pollution Diseases To The RW Level
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) is intensifying early detection of diseases due to air pollution to the level of community unit (RW)."We are aggressively conducting examinations for non-communicable diseases, such as the result of this air pollution. This program is up to RW, the puskesmas, for early detection," said Sanitarian Jakarta Health Service Siti Suwanti in an online discussion on the impact of air pollution in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, September 29.The goal, he continued, is to accelerate the handling of patients exposed to diseases caused by air pollution.He explained that the diseases suffered a lot due to air pollution include acute respiratory infection (ARI), tuberculosis (TBC), heart disease, asthma to chronic lung disease.
