It Was Revealed Why The Central Java Public Information Disclosure Index Value Continued To Increase

JAKARTA - The Central Java Provincial Government will continue to prioritize public information disclosure as a form of excellent service for the community.

The Head of Communication and Information Technology of Central Java, Riena Retnaningrum said, Governor Ganjar Pranowo continued to emphasize his staff to provide the best service to the community. One of them is the disclosure of public information.

Requests for information from the public, not including those that are excluded, must be responded to immediately.

"Our leadership requires that requests for information and complaints from the public must be followed up within 2x24 hours, and must be fast, easy, and complete. Various complaint channels are also opened, even all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) must have social media that are easily accessible to the public," Riena Retnaningrum explained, Monday, September 26, as reported by Antara.

Even though Central Java has been an informative province four times, his party continues to strive to always be close and give the best for the community.

"Central Java has a tagline that the information needed by the public must be easy, cheap, fast, and must be based on social media. So, the information needed by people in Central Java should not be ignored. Requests for information from the public must be responded to immediately," he said.

Based on the value of the Public Information Disclosure Index (IKIP) released by the Central Information Commission, the value of the 2022 National IKIP is 74.43 which was obtained from a combined assessment from expert informants in 34 provinces and from 17 national informants.

This value has increased compared to the previous year which was recorded at 71.37.

There are five categories of IKIP assessments, namely very bad, medium, very good, and very good. With this value, the National IKIP is in the moderate category.

Therefore, Arief hopes that the value of IKIP can increase with the cooperation of all parties, both in the regions and at the center, especially since the government has a national priority program contained in the RPJMN, one of which is the Public Information Disclosure Index.
