This Year's Electric Compor Trial To Know How Effective Compared To Use Elpiji
JAKARTA - Member of Commission VII DPR, Nasyirul Falah Amru, emphasized that the use of electric stoves this year is still in the testing and socialization stage.
"This trial is to find out how effective the use of this electric stove is compared to LPG. It can more suppress gas imports, or not," said Nasyirul in a statement received in Jakarta, Saturday, September 24.
For now, the government will provide free electric stove packages to 300,000 Indonesians registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data and have electricity.
This member of Commission VII of the DPR continued, when the use of the electric stove succeeded in suppressing imports, it would have a better impact on the people.
He also stated that the conversion to the electric stove would not increase the burden on the people, because this electric stove was subsidized by the government.
The member of the DPR for the constituency of East Java X said that later the Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) equipment would be distributed for free to the electricity stove recipient community, which is a electricity customer of 450 to 900 Volt Ampere (VA).
"Once again, the use of this electric stove is still in the testing and socialization stage, there has been no more intensive discussion," he said.
Based on previous reports, the government has ensured that the three kg LPG stove conversion program to the induction electric stove will not be implemented in 2022. The government will continue to monitor and appreciate input from the public, including monitoring reports in the media, and seeing firsthand the conditions in the field regarding this change.
The Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, explained that the government will carefully calculate all costs and risks, pay attention to the interests of the community, and socialize to the public before the three kg LPG stove conversion program to the induction electric stove is implemented.
