General Of The Council Of Colonels No Problem The Plan For The Elimination Of A Corporal Council That Supports Ganjar

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DPR RI, Utut Adianto, responded to the emergence of a 'Primary Board' who supported Ganjar Pranowo to run for the 2024 presidential candidate.

Utut, who was lined up as a general in the Council of Colonels to support Puan Maharani, responded casually. According to him, the formation of a forum to support the candidate is something that is allowed. "Yes, that's what they want, it's okay," Utut told reporters, Thursday, September 22.

Utut then carried out the concept of 'Colonel Council' initiated by a member of the PDIP faction DPR, Johan Budi. He called the 'Colonnel Council' containing the 12 members as a form of his support for DPR Speaker Puan Maharani if she ran as a presidential candidate.

"We are just, Mas Johan Budi gave a nickname to be enthusiastic. If the big concept helps Mbak Puan," said Utut. Previously, the head of volunteer Ganjar Pranowo Mania (GP Mania) Immanuel Ebenezer or Noel said that his party would also form a Corporal Council to prepare the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo to face the 2024 presidential election as a presidential candidate.

Noel is optimistic that the Corporal Board can compete with the Colonel Council which was created to improve the image and electability of the PDIP DPP chairman.

"We will also form a corporate council. If the elite can form a colonel council, we will form a corporate council," said Noel when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, September 21.

Noel stated that GP Mania was serious in forming this Corporal Council. Because he said, there are more members of the Corporal Council because it contains elements of society, not political elites.

"All supporting components, volunteers, Mas Ganjar. Whether it's from kiai, students, laborers, farmers, we will form a corporate council," said Noel.

According to Noel, the determinant of the election victory is the voice of the people. Therefore, he believes that the elite vote which is accommodated through the Council of Colonels will definitely lose.

"However, colonels and corporals, there are more corporals. The vote for elections in the context of democracy is determined by the quanty. Well, this quanty is more corporate than a colonel, right. The officer is more than a corporal, right," he said.
