JAKARTA - Chairman of the Press Council Professor Azyumardi Azra received intensive care at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Serdang Hospital, Selangor, Malaysia, on Saturday, September 17. Based on information from the hospital, Professor Azra has been transferred from the red zone room at the trauma and Emergency Department to the hospital CCU for further treatment. Professor Azra wants to attend an invitation from the Malaysian Islamic Religious Forces (ABIM) to attend the Islamic Cosmopolitan International Conference which was held in Selangor, Malaysia, on September 17. ABIM President Muhammad Faisal Abd Aziz said Professor Azyumardi Azrawal was scheduled to be one of the speakers at the conference. Several other speakers came from Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. The conference will be opened by the Chairman of the Institute of International Thoughts (IIIT) Anwar Ibrahim.
