PDIP Politician Asks Effendi Simbolon For Clarification Of The TNI Such As A Crowd
JAKARTA - Member of Commission XI of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Hendrawan Supratikno, asked his party mate in Commission I of the DPR, Effendi Simbolon, to immediately provide clarification regarding his statement about the TNI such as gangs. The statement drew protests from TNI soldiers in a number of areas. Effendi has also been reported to the House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) regarding his remarks.
"It must be clarified. The sooner the better, so it doesn't spread everywhere," Hendrawan told reporters, Wednesday, September 15.
Even so, Hendrawan said Effendi's statement must also be understood in context. According to him, sensitive statements will be easily edited to make the atmosphere heat up.
"These statements must be understood in their context. In the social media era, sensitive statements were easily edited to cloud the atmosphere," said Hendrawan. Previously, members of Commission I of the DPR from the PDIP faction Effendi Simbolon were reported to the DPR MKD, Tuesday, September 13. Effendi was reported to the MKD for calling the TNI a gang. Effendi is also suspected of dividing the relationship between the TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa and Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman by calling it a dish.
The report against Effendi was made by the General Chairperson of the Young Generation DPP Penerus Perjuangan Kemerdekaan (GMPPK) Bernard D. Namang or Deni. The complaint was received directly by the Deputy Chairperson of the DPR MKD Nazaruddin Dek Gam in the DPR MKD Meeting Room.
