Affirm No Registration Of BBM BLT Recipients, Papua Social Service Asks Residents To Check Data At Post Offices
PAPUA - The Papua Province Social, Population and Civil Registration Office (Dinsosdukcapil) stated that the government did not open the registration of prospective recipients of direct assistance for fuel oil cash or BLT fuel.
The head of the Papua Province Social Service Office, Ribka Haluk, said that the news circulating on WhatsApp regarding individuals being able to register as recipients of BLT BBM was a hoax.
"The information is that there is no opening of registration for BLT fuel recipients," he said in Jayapura, Papua, quoted from Antara, Monday, September 12.
He explained that the government distributed BBM BLT to underprivileged families whose data was already in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).
Residents who need clear information regarding the distribution of BBM BLT, said Ribka, can visit the local post office and Social Service (Dinsos).
Ribka explained that the agency had deployed assistants to verify the data on prospective BLT fuel recipients to ensure assistance reached the right target.
The government is known to distribute fuel BLT for four months from September to December 2022 with a total value of Rp600 thousand per family.
The assistance is distributed to beneficiary families in two stages through the post office.
