Ride Bronjong, Police And TNI In Sukoharjo Susuri Gang To Share Basic Foods

JAKARTA - Sukoharjo Police personnel, Central Java rode a motorcycle equipped with a basket. They went around to distribute 1,000 food packages to the local community.

Sukoharjo Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan explained that the police also cooperated with the TNI and several student elements in the area. Each package is in the form of five kilograms of rice.

The aid was brought on a motorcycle in a bed known by the local community as "bronjong".

They walked through various roads in the area to distribute aid to people in need, including pedicab drivers, angkot drivers, travel drivers, online motorcycle taxis, base motorcycle taxis, parking attendants, street vendors, and other communities affected by the increase in fuel oil (BBM).

Police Chief Wahyu Nugroho explained that the social service followed up on the instructions of the Central Java Police Chief to all police officers in Central Java.

"We have prepared as many as 2,000 food packages that will be distributed in stages," said AKBP Wahyu, quoted from Antara, Saturday, September 10.

Previously, the Sukoharjo Police distributed 200 food packages in the Grogol and Pasar Ir areas. Soekarno, while the same activity on Friday (9/9) was targeted by the community around Terminal and Sub-Department of State Satya, Sukoharjo Regency.

He explained the purpose of activities to help the community to remain enthusiastic in dealing with policies related to fuel price adjustments.

"Hopefully it doesn't have much impact, even though it does," he said.

He hopes that the community will remain enthusiastic about carrying out economic activities in meeting their personal and family needs.

The local police also deployed bhabinkamtibas in 12 police stations in the area in the distribution of aid to reach the entire local area.

"So the total food packages that we distribute are 1,000 packages consisting of the Resort Police and the Jayatan Police," he said.
