Anies Claims For Citizens More Interests Living In DP Houses Rp0 Compared To Apartments
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan claims that the public's interest is higher to stay in the Rp0 DP House compared to the apartment.
Anies Baswedan's statement was conveyed at the inauguration of the construction of 1,348 housing units DP Rp0 named Nuansa Cilangkap in Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta.
Anies claims that the residential rate at the Rp0 DP house that has been built by the DKI Provincial Government has been filled with 95 percent. Meanwhile, the number of apartment market occupancy in Jakarta is only around 70 percent.
"If we pay attention, I check the occupancy rate is around 95 percent. The occupancy of the DP 0 program is higher than the market, because the apartment market has only 70 percent," said Anies in Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 8.
In fact, Anies said that currently there are 55,000 Jakarta residents who have registered to be able to get a house in this Rp0 DP program. Although, not all of them pass the credit administrification selection on banks.
"We do have a high demand. If you look at the data, more than 55 thousand have registered to participate in the DP 0 program. So, DP 0 is an interesting scheme for the private sector, workable. Now there are 700 development units lining up and God willing, 2024 will be completed," he explained.
Anies said that the target of the Rp0 DP house is Jakarta residents who have income above the provincial minimum wage (UMP) and it is difficult for them to issue DPs to buy houses for private property developers.
"Those who are above the UMP but are not enough to save to have a DP. The income is there, but to save DP is difficult. It runs out every month. Now, this group is then prepared for the DP Rp0 program," he explained.
Anies reviewed that the construction of the Rp0 DP House in Cilangkap which was just inaugurated began in 2019. This construction continued during the pandemic. After three years, the construction of the Rp0 DP House was finally habitable.
"When I walked, there was a pandemic, and finally the first time it was now finished it was an extraordinary building," said Anies.
To the prospective residents of the Rp0 Cilangkap DP House, Anies advised them to still be able to maintain harmony and togetherness in living together in one environment.
"Although legally the ownership is one unit, remember, this building belongs to all of us. Treatment and atmosphere are well built. So, we want the flats in Jakarta to reflect Indonesia, the atmosphere of togetherness, not the atmosphere of individualism, the atmosphere of mutual cooperation, and that is the atmosphere of Indonesia. Take good care of it. My message," he added.
