Former Deputy Chairman Of The DKI Jakarta DPRD M Taufik Was Summoned By The KPK Regarding Allegations Of Corruption Land Procurement
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned former Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Mohammad Taufik or M. Taufik today, Thursday, September 8. He was investigated for alleged corruption in land acquisition in Pulo Gebang Village, Cakung, East Jakarta.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Taufik would be questioned as a witness. The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"Today, the examination of TPK witnesses related to land acquisition in Pulo Gebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta in 2018-2019," Ali said in a written statement, Thursday, September 8.
Apart from Taufik, the KPK also summoned the former Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya Yoory Corneles. He is a convict in a similar case, namely land acquisition in Munjul, East Jakarta.
However, Ali has not detailed what the KPK will investigate from the summons of the two witnesses. However, both are suspected of knowing the alleged corruption that occurred during the land acquisition process.
Previously, the KPK revealed that it was currently gathering evidence related to the alleged corruption case for land acquisition in Pulo Gebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta by Perumda SJ (Sarana Jaya) in 2018-2019.
It is suspected that there has been a state loss of up to hundreds of billions of rupiah. However, the calculation is still ongoing.
As for the suspects and the construction of the case, the KPK has not announced until now. Later, the announcement will be made along with efforts to force detention.
