Minister Of Home Affairs To Regional Heads In Gorontalo: Electricity Savings, Including AC At Offices
GORONTALO - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian asked governors, regents, and mayors in Gorontalo Province to maintain the stability of food prices in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, including saving energy.
"So we have to save electricity, including lights and air conditioning in the office," Tito said after a coordination meeting with regional heads in Gorontalo Province, quoted from Antara, Thursday, September 1.
On the same occasion, Tito also appreciated all regional heads in Gorontalo Province and Forkopimdaya in handling COVID-19.
From the existing data, the number of COVID-19 in Gorontalo is relatively under control. However, we must remain vigilant because low numbers do not mean there are no cases," he said.
He appealed to the public to continue to wear masks as optimally as possible, especially when in crowds or activities.
"Don't forget to also vaccinate boosters, especially for those who live in urban areas with high community interactions. That is very much needed," he said.
The briefing from the Minister of Home Affairs in Gorontalo was attended by almost all regional heads and high-ranking vertical agencies.
The regional heads who attended were Acting Governor of Gorontalo Hamka Hendra Noer, Mayor of Gorontalo and his representatives, Regent of Gorontalo and his deputy, Regent of Bone Bolango, as well as representatives from other regional heads.
